If your Aluvii onboarding was rough, you already know the real question about switching, and it isn’t features. It’s whether your guests, passes, and history land intact on the other side. That’s what this page is about.

The cost of staying
What another year on Aluvii costs you.
Priced per login
Aluvii quotes per business; a third-party listing puts the start near $89 per user per month. Per-user pricing means the bill grows every time you add a front-desk seat. Omni-Play’s flat rate covers unlimited devices and staff.
What you can’t check before you commit
Capacity caps per slot, deposit and cancellation rules, and support hours aren’t documented publicly, so you find out how they work after you’ve signed. Omni-Play publishes all three.

Operators describe Aluvii migrations as chaotic: duplicate guest accounts, passes that wouldn’t activate, records hard to merge. Staying doesn’t undo it — those duplicate households are still skewing your reports today.

Omni-Play was built at The Sand Place, which ran Aluvii — so the converter you’d be using was written against Aluvii’s own exports. It has already rebuilt a venue’s guests, sales, and bookings from a real export, and the money reconciles to that export’s own grand total.

- Head counts, party dates, and the day each booking was actually taken.
- Product catalog
- Mapped name by name against your export. An unmapped name stops the run rather than guessing.
- Promo codes
- The codes you already run, with the usage they already have.
- Duplicate households
- They come across, and then you merge them. Duplicate-account merge is a first-class Omni-Play feature, not a support ticket.
Set up fresh in Omni-Play
- Kiosks, access control, arcade cards
- Aluvii sells all three and Omni-Play has none of them. Anything running through them stays behind.
- HR and payroll reporting
- Omni-Play has a shared staff time clock with manager timecard editing, which is narrower than Aluvii’s HR module. Check it covers what payroll needs before you commit.
- Taxes and fees
- Omni-Play's own tax stack is authoritative, so you configure taxes here instead of importing them.
- Deposit and cancellation policy
- You write the rule once — forfeit, refund, or store credit — and the engine runs it on every cancel.
- Signed waivers
- Old waivers stay where they are. Guests sign an Omni-Play waiver on their next visit, or ahead of it by link.
- Cards on file
- Membership billing runs through Stripe, so each member’s card is captured again — at the desk, or by the member on their own guest page.
- Staff accounts
- Roles and permissions are built fresh. Staff get an emailed invite and set their own password.

You use the kiosks, access control, or arcade cards
Those are real Aluvii modules with no Omni-Play equivalent. Replacing them means finding another vendor, not another setting.
Payroll runs through Aluvii
Its HR and timekeeping module does payroll and labor reporting. Omni-Play’s time clock records punches and lets a manager fix a timecard, and stops there.

- Will this migration be as bad as the last one?
- We can’t promise you a feeling, so here’s the mechanism instead: the converter runs offline against your exports as many times as it needs to, an unmapped product name stops the run rather than guessing, and a reconciliation report proves the totals match your export before you go live. You see the result before you commit to a date.
- What do I give up by leaving Aluvii?
- The lower price, the kiosks, the access-control module, arcade cards, and the HR module with payroll reporting. If any of those matter, the last section on this page is the honest read.
